Most Arizonans simply want their God-given right, or freedom, to pursue their dreams and goals without being controlled or manipulated by heavy-handed government. Our country has always been a nation of second and third chances, regardless of political party affiliation.
Arizona is the 2nd driest state in the Union behind Nevada. Arizona needs to have reliable and secure supplies of water for our tomorrows. Currently, Arizona's water supplies are in jeopardy. Unless, as a state, Arizona can secure more water, and reduce demand and waste - growth will come to a halt. To build a home in Arizona a developer needs to have an assured supply of water for 100 years. Do we really have enough for one or two million more people when current water users are being cut off?
The State Legislature needs to look to amending existing water laws, enacting new laws to encourage water efficiency, establishing processes for use of grey water, and explore unconventional new supplies of water.
